Our Process
How It Works
A structured approach for families who need a path forward. Every step is designed around what your family actually needs.
Step 01
A Loved One Calls
The process begins with a conversation.
A family member reaches out and tells us what is happening. There is no script, no judgment, and no pressure. We simply listen. You tell us what you are seeing, what you are worried about, and what has already been tried. We are here to hear it.
Step 02
We Assess the Situation
We gather important information.
We carefully assess the circumstances surrounding your loved one's situation. This means asking thoughtful questions, listening to what the family shares, and building a clearer picture of what is happening. We do not rush this stage. Getting it right matters.
Step 03
We Find the Issue
We work to understand the underlying challenges.
We work to understand the underlying challenges and determine what type of support may be appropriate. This may include identifying the nature and severity of the situation, the dynamics within the family, and what type of intervention or next step may make sense given the full picture.
Step 04
We Fly Out
When appropriate, we come to you.
When an in-person intervention is appropriate, our team can travel to the family. We believe that some situations require more than a phone call. Being present, in the room, with the family, can make a significant difference in how the process unfolds.
In-person travel is coordinated based on the individual needs of each family and situation.
Step 05
Intervention & Placement
We help guide the intervention and coordinate next steps.
We help guide the intervention process and coordinate the transition toward an appropriate recovery environment through our partnership with Living Longer Recovery. The goal is not just a conversation — it is a meaningful first step toward recovery.
Every situation is different. Recommendations and services are based on the individual circumstances of each family. Not every step listed above applies to every situation.
